Privacy Policy

Trove is a jewelry portfolio tracker for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: your collection is private by design, we collect only what the app needs to function, we show no ads, we run no analytics or tracking, and we never sell data.
Information we collect

What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or behavioral tracking SDKs.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data for marketing.
- No access to your photo library beyond the specific pictures you choose to attach.
- No location collection.
Where your data lives
Your account and collection are stored with Supabase (our hosting, authentication, and storage provider), protected by row-level security so each account can only ever read its own data. Photos are stored in private storage reachable only by your account through short-lived signed links.
Service providers we rely on to operate the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription billing.
- Google — Sign in with Google, if you choose it.
- RevenueCat — subscription status management (receives your app user id and purchase state, never your collection).
Live metal and diamond market prices are fetched by our servers from market-data providers; your collection is never sent to them.
Your control
- Export — you can export your collection as a CSV file from the app at any time.
- Deletion — Profile → Settings → Delete Account permanently deletes your account, items, and photos, immediately and irreversibly. You can also email us to request deletion.
- Photos & name — removable individually inside the app.
Data retention
We keep your data only while your account exists. Deleting your account removes it from our systems immediately; residual copies in encrypted backups expire on the backup provider's standard rotation schedule.
Children
Trove is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
