Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Trove iPhone application. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What Trove is — and is not
Trove helps you catalog a personal collection of jewelry, gemstones, bullion, and coins, and shows informational estimates of value based on live precious-metal spot prices, published diamond market data, and the figures you enter yourself.
Estimates are not appraisals. Melt values, matrix-based diamond estimates, and any derived totals are approximations for personal reference only. They are not certified valuations, not offers to buy or sell, and not financial, investment, insurance, or tax advice. Actual resale prices depend on craftsmanship, brand, condition, certification, and market conditions the app cannot see. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified appraiser or advisor.
Market data may be delayed, estimated, or occasionally unavailable, and is provided "as is" without guarantee of accuracy.
Your account
- You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Acceptable use
- Use the app only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app beyond what law permits, or use the service to build a competing data feed.
Trove Pro subscriptions
- Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple ID. Prices and periods are shown in the app before purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Payment, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple under the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement; refund requests go through Apple.
- If a subscription lapses, Pro features lock again but your data is never deleted for non-payment.
Your content
The collection data and photos you add remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and display them back to you — we do not use your content for anything else.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of valuations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the app's estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service, with notice where practical.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
